This Photo was taken at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and the eighth largest mosque in the world. It is named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder and the first President of the United Arab Emirates, who is also buried there. The mosque was officially opened in the Islamic month of Ramadan in 2007. The design of the mosque can be best described as a fusion of Arab, Mughal and Moorish architecture. The Sheikh Zayed Mosque made some world records are 1)The carpet laid out on the vast expanse is the “World’s Largest Carpet” made by Iran’s Carpet Company and designed by Iranian artist Ali Khaliqi. 2)This mosque also holds the largest chandelier in the world.

Sarin Soman is a software engineer, working and living in Dubai,United Arab Emirates. He is basically from India. Since 2005, he has started photography as his hobby. But till the year 2009, most of the photos he clicked were not based on any technical points or compositions.Whatever comes to his way he just clicked. From 2009 onwards he has taken photography as bit more serious hobby and concentrated on compositions, technical aspects etc. Flickr groups, websites and friends helped him a lot to learn photography. For him photography is something close to his heart. He uses to say it his wife – camera is his second wife. Still he is a beginner in photography and a long way to go. He has great desire like one i day he wants to become a full-time photographer and from his photography he can win his bread.
