This portrait was taken on our one of the family weddings, he’s my father’s cousin and he seems to have an interesting face, perfect for the portrait. I visualized the scene in black and white, and got the idea of light and dark parts in the background.
With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone. We should not be those people who grew older but not wiser. We have to be open to receive the gift of wisdom that comes from aging.
We spent a bivouac night above Innsbruck, Tyrol, to watch the night sky and the sunrise above the Karwendel mountain range. I took this picture right before sun rise from the Salfeins Alm area with the Salfeins lake in the foreground and the Kalkkögel mountain range in the background.
