Every day I try to go out to our quarry ponds, which are quite near to river Elbe. Some days it’s full of life, especially during autumn when migrant birds are coming back. That afternoon at around 5 pm I saw these mergansers for the first time, and they showed off very macho.
Their fishing zone is very far from the locality. and it is very calm and peaceful here. Sometimes Dinner is sent from the fishermen”s home. And often the boy child has been sent from for that purpose. And also told before sunset to return home. Here the boy carrying dinner for his father who is one of the fishermen. But he is very hurried because of the darkness.
