The picture was taken Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania, September 2011. The young Maasai boys are painting their faces before their Initiation. I met them during driving a jeep through Ngorongoro area. They are preparing for their Circumcision ceremony outside the village, where I passed them by on the side of the road.
