The Craft of Staying True
There is beauty in the weathered surfaces of old buildings, just as there is beauty in the lines etched into an experienced face. Both are records of survival, of enduring the seasons without losing their foundational strength. When we look closely at the textures of daily life, we find art in the most unexpected corners.

This masterful work, ‘The Soul of Old Dhaka Streets’ by Shahnaz Parvin, remains as powerful and moving today as the day she framed it. It is an honor to reflect upon it.
