The Quietest Color

I spent an hour this morning trying to find my keys, moving piles of mail and shifting cushions until I was breathless. When I finally found them tucked inside a coat pocket, I realized I had been looking at the same spot for ten minutes without actually seeing them. It is funny how we move through our days like that, eyes wide open but minds somewhere else entirely. We walk past the same trees and the same windows, missing the small, vibrant things that are waiting to be noticed. Sometimes, it takes a moment of stillness—or the frustration of a lost key—to force us to stop and look again. When we finally slow down, the world seems to sharpen. Colors feel a little deeper, and the ordinary things we usually ignore suddenly demand our full attention. It makes me wonder how many other beautiful, quiet details I have walked past today simply because I was too busy looking for something else. What is one thing you noticed today that you usually walk right by?

Red Tulips by Mazhar Hossain

Mazhar Hossain has captured this feeling perfectly in his image titled Red Tulips. It reminds me that there is so much beauty waiting if we just take the time to focus. What do you think of this vibrant capture?
