It’s a relief to step away from the field and look at something that doesn't involve a shutter-happy tourist harassing a nesting bird. There’s no ego here, just the quiet, viscous swirl of pumpkin oil and beetroot. I find myself craving this stillness; it’s a welcome change from the frantic, invasive pursuit of wildlife I usually critique. It’s honest work. You don’t need to disturb a soul to create something beautiful, and this proves it.
