It’s a clean, bright composition, but I find myself craving the grit of the field. There’s no tension here, no heartbeat. When I look at these perfectly arranged greens, I don’t feel the thrill of a moment earned through silence or freezing rain. It’s just food. I’d trade this entire polished aesthetic for one blurry, honest shot of a desert lark foraging in the Kuwaiti heat. It’s pretty, sure, but it’s entirely hollow.
