Born in Belarus in 1967, Yury Rephar spent his formative years traveling extensively throughout the Soviet Union before settling in Saint Petersburg in 2002. A graduate of the Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, he balances a professional career in information technology with a dedicated pursuit of photography as both a creative outlet and a professional endeavor. As a father of three, his work is deeply informed by his family life, focusing on candid, emotive portraits that seek to capture the genuine spirit and shifting moods of his subjects.
