Score Breakdown

Resonance Score: Criteria & Points

The award score given by our international jury of five contains 80 marks. The remaining 20 marks are based on social responses, organic reach, and reviews received before the announcement date.

Award Reach and Reviews We calculate the Award Reach and Reviews based on realistic engagement factors: when you share content, typically 1 out of 10 people visit the link (counting as views). Furthermore, on average, 1 out of 20 visitors leave a review.

Social Share Submission A social share occurs when someone shares your awarded photograph on social networks. While some networks maintain passive walled gardens, our resonance tracking ensures all verified shares count toward the award.

Disqualification Policy Shares and popularity will not be counted if the share is private, auto-generated, manually manipulated, reviews are posted from duplicate IP addresses, or bot/like-exchange programs are used.

Who Can Be the Winner Typically, photographs scoring 70–85 in total have the possibility to become Photo of the Month winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). This makes victory reachable for works scoring 60+ from the jury through active audience connection.
