Blueberry Macarons by Leanne Lindsay
Sometimes a gray afternoon can spark a little creativity in the kitchen! The rain was coming down in sheets the other day, and I just wasn't in the mood to be stuck inside. But instead of curling up on the couch, I decided to combine my love of baking with my love of photography. I whipped up a batch of these delicious blueberry macarons, and while they were baking, I prepped my camera to capture them.
Even though the weather outside was gloomy, the warm light from my living room window created a perfect spotlight for my little morsels. I love how the camera captured the vibrant colors of the blueberries against the deep grey plate. And baking always makes my kitchen feel cozy and inviting, so it was only fitting that the photo turned out the same way.
Baris Tezcan
I am Baris Tezcan, a Turkish-born executive banker and amateur photographer currently living in Prague. I'm passionate about capturing the world through my lens, finding beauty in the moment, and sharing my unique perspective with others.
I always make time for photography, whether it's exploring new locations, experimenting with different techniques, or simply taking a quiet walk with my camera in hand.
For me, photography is all about being in the moment - fully present and aware of my surroundings, attuned to the light and shadows, and open to the possibilities of each new scene. Through my lens, I strive to capture the essence of a place or a person, to tell a story, and to evoke an emotional response in the viewer.
