This image was a sweat accident. I started early on that day in order to reach Yumthang Valley which about 20kms away. As the weather becomes very un-predicable towards afternoon, guide recommended to reach early and return early. The drive was through rugged landscape due to frequent land slides. On way, my guide stopped a small village for breakfast. After my food, I took a little walk behind the village and found these amazing tall trees with the mountain backdrop.
Yumthang valley is one of the high altitude mountain pass in eastern Himalayan range of Sikkim. The travel has to be through rugged and curvy roads to reach the top. One the way up, I observed this beautiful synchronisation of the mountain road with the Teesta river on the bottom with majestic view of Himalayan surroundings.
I took this shot during my trip to the Eastern Himalayas.I was watching the beautiful mountains in my hotel’s balcony when I saw the bird sitting on a branch.I rushed to my room to bring my camera and to click this beautiful bird.
