Between Sea and Sky
I spent this morning trying to find my keys, tearing through drawers and checking the pockets of every coat I own. It was a frantic, noisy start to the day. Eventually, I stopped. I stood in the middle of my living room and just breathed, waiting for the quiet to settle back into the corners of the house. It made me think about how often we look for things—answers, peace, or even just our own belongings—while standing in the middle of a storm we created ourselves. We forget that sometimes the only way to find what we need is to stop moving, to let the dust settle, and to simply exist in the space we occupy. There is a strange, quiet power in standing still when everything else feels like it is rushing past. It is in those moments of stillness that the world finally stops demanding things from us and starts showing us what has been there all along. Do you ever find that you see more clearly once you stop looking so hard?

Marissa Tejada has captured this exact feeling of stillness in her beautiful image titled Dreamlike Scene. It feels like a place where time has decided to take a long, deep breath. Does this view make you want to slow down, too?
