Hayrettin Tunc

Hayrettin Tunc began his photographic journey while studying at the Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, where he earned recognition for his work in cinema and photography. After a hiatus, he returned to the craft in 2008, focusing his lens on the raw reality of contemporary street life.

Drawing inspiration from legendary figures like Henri Cartier-Bresson and Bruce Gilden, Tunc captures the candid essence of urban environments. His work reflects a deep commitment to documenting the authentic human experience through a street photography lens.

He received recognition for his work 'Syrian Virgin Mary U' at the 5th International Big Photo Competition and the International İfod Photography Contests in 2017. Additionally, his work has been exhibited at the Türkan Saylan Culture Center during the 'Photograph Photo Days' event.
