Northern Gannet, by Claudio Bacinello

On a trip through Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada, I stopped to photograph a Northern Gannet colony on a foggy morning in Cape St. Mary’s. As I was photographing the nesting birds through the fog I saw a single bird stand up and stretch his wings and was able to capture this image.
