I was struck by the harsh light of the foreground and soft on the buildings of old city. The photograph was taken on January 9, 2009, the day before Christmas market in the city of Leon in Spain, was a must for many people.

I was surprised that it was taken in 2009. At first I thought it was a vintage photo from around 1920. Great photo.
