On a cold autumn day, I was driving back disappointed from trying to shoot the lighthouse due to dense fog when suddenly I saw several elk near the road. I pulled over and crept up slowly to this magnificent animal and am forever changed.
This was taken near San Diego in a Ranunculus field. This one flower was at least 2 ft. above every other flower and really stood out as exceptional. The flowers were all swaying violently in the wind so it was very difficult to capture anything.
