Old Days Pass Away by Kirsten Bruening
This photo was taken in a subway in Bochum. We live in a flow of continuous change. Old friends say goodbye, new friends come. But without these changes, our lives would be at a standstill.

Like every year in autumn. When oaks blush and the maple shines yellow. If soon a breeze is enough to blow the leaves off the branch.

Shades of Grey by Kirsten Bruening
If you love black and white photography like I do, then you know that it is not always easy to photograph plants and flowers in black and white. I am always looking for the perfect flower or plant. It must not be too dark, but also not too light. It must be interesting. It must have interesting petals, but it must also have enough colour to be attractive and interesting. This photo was taken on a sunny morning, shortly after sunrise. The leaves are caught by the light and still form a nice contrast to the background.
