Champagne Macarons by Leanne Lindsay

The rain was drumming down this afternoon, and I was starting to feel a bit cooped up inside. But instead of surrendering to the gloomy weather, I decided to turn it into an opportunity for a fun baking and photography session! I've always loved the challenge and satisfaction of baking beautiful and delicious treats. Today, I was craving something colorful and a little whimsical, so I decided to whip up a batch of these vibrant champagne macarons. While the cookies were baking, I prepped my camera to capture them. I wanted to create a photo that was just as cheerful and bright as the cookies themselves. Using natural light, I arranged the macarons in champagne glasses for a bit of fun. Even though I was stuck inside, these little macarons brought a ray of sunshine to my day.

Doughnuts Filled with Lemon Curd by Larisa Sferle

Doughnuts filled with lemon curd are a delightful treat that combine the light, fluffy texture of a classic doughnut with the tangy, sweet surprise of lemon curd. These doughnuts are typically deep-fried to a golden brown perfection, then injected with a smooth, zesty lemon curd. The vibrant citrus flavor of the filling perfectly balances the rich, slightly crisp exterior of the doughnut, creating a mouth-watering contrast. Often dusted with powdered sugar or glazed, these doughnuts make a refreshing and indulgent snack or dessert that is sure to brighten any day.
