Ethan, by Keith Goldstein
Keith Goldstein was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1957. Keith was interested in art for as long as he can remember, with his mother being his biggest influence and supporter, encouraging him in his earliest artistic endeavors. Keith began studies at night school with David Attie and moved into New York City, receiving his BFA with Honors in photography from the School of Visual Arts. It was there, working with Tad Yamashiro, that he began to experiment with a more emotive way of expression. Wanting to explore this further, Keith went on to continue his experimentation with Carl Toth at Cranbrook Academy of Art. After receiving his MFA in Photography, he subsequently moved back to New York City and began, through a course of personal experiences, to unravel everything that he knew and was for the next 15 years of his life. Keith’s photograph Ethan awarded in the Photo of the Day Award in the category of Artistic Photography, as it scored a solid 70 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 18, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5. The number of Tweets, Facebook shares, and StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph, raising its score to 4.48 from social media (Facebook Share 2.375, Tweets 2.1, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.005, and Comments 0), and in total 74.48, the highest score in this competition for the 45th Month. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 45th Month, 1st Place.

Birds and Trees, by Saniar Rahman Rahul
Saniar Rahman Rahul was the first winner for ‘Photo of the Month Award’ in June 2010. Climb Your Mountain Every Day, by Ronnie Glover
Photography took a backseat while Ronnie obtained his college degree. After graduation, he purchased his first camera but was unable to produce the images that he saw in his mind. He then took a few continuing education classes to learn the technical aspects of the camera and realized there was so much more to learn about photography. So Ronnie enrolled in the professional program at Southeastern Center for the Arts in Atlanta. The school was operated by Jeanne & Neil Chaput de Saintonge, who currently operate Rocky Mountain School of Photography. He spent 14 years living in Alaska and this gave him unbelievable opportunities to experience nature and capture many images. Ronnie also enjoys sports and travel photography and the experience of different cultures. Glover’s photograph Climb Your Mountain Every Day, in the category of Nature Photography scored 67 (Value 13, Clarity 12.5, Composition 17, Style 12.5, Skill 12) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score to 6.73 from social media (Facebook Share 3.275, Tweets 2.45, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.005, and Comments 0), and in total 74.73, the third highest score in this competition for the 45th Month. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 45th Month, 2nd Place.
