Capturing Simple Pleasures by Lavi Dhurve
One moving November 2020 day, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic’s pervasive grasp, I happened to be strolling down a village’s peaceful lanes. As I looked around, my camera caught a sight that expressed so much about resiliency, inventiveness, and the timeless quality of children.
Nestled in a little room next to the soft mooing of cows, a bunch of village children had made their playground out of an atypical area. They were constrained within by the limitations of an intensely difficult situation, but their lively laughing reflected the elegance and simplicity of childhood happiness.
