Purple Sky Dreams by Lydia Sutcliffe
I was doing a day travel of Portland, Oregon with my partner and 2 best friends. We did an 8 hour drive all the way to Mount Hood, and we stopped at this gorgeous fresh farm. I noticed how beautiful the photo looked in my eyes so snapped the photo knowing the Lomography colours would make it come alive even more.

I am a 26 year old who has constantly had a passion for photography and loved doing it for fun and now partially work. I did A & A2 level Cambridge photography exams and came first in the class for two years in a row, selling work picked out by my teacher. Now, at 26, my father gifted me his old Minolta camera, which I had never shot on, or had ever used film. Since then, I have been in love with film photography and am awaiting a new polaroid to come through also.

I didn’t realise how beautiful this place was until now. The contrast of the wintery mountains with the warmth of the farm draws me in. The colours and depth of the photo are stunning. This is something special
Makes me want to go on vacation.. truly beautiful
What a beautiful part of Oregon you’ve captured, it’s dreamy as, the clouds, pastel-like colours, and softness is divine, I need to go back in the summer!
This is truly a professional postcard quality, if it wasn’t for the modern pick up truck, it resonates of the 1950’s…well done…
Looks like a postcard.. so beautiful lyds.
WOW this is stunning! What a beautiful scene!
Amazing colours! Great ‘Lomo’ effects – well done!
Very cool – Lomography has a very distinctive result, and this captures that perfectly! Like your work very much!!
Hard to believe but it really looks like that
I’ve seen a purple sky before and it’s no where near as beautiful as this photo c
This photo is stunning. The faded and muted colours give it a vintage and nostalgic feel. Mt Hood in the background is just beautiful.
What I love about this whole photo is like a postcard so clear takes me right in and feel like I can walk between those bushes and get to the house. And the mountain blending in with the sky just great. Love it .
