Captured during the blue hour on the 28th of Ramadan, this image depicts the serene atmosphere of Faisal Masjid shortly after the Maghrib Azan. To achieve the perfect long exposure, the photographer utilized a tripod and a remote shutter release, opting for a 30-second exposure at f/22 to manage the ambient light and prevent overexposure. The resulting photograph is a testament to technical patience and artistic vision, masterfully balancing the deep hues of the evening sky with the architectural grandeur of the mosque. It stands as an award-worthy piece for its disciplined execution and the evocative, tranquil mood it captures during a significant spiritual time.
