In fact, it is very difficult to meet many kids in the daytime because they have a long hard way too and back from school at midday. So the only chance to meet them is when they return from school or when visiting classes.

Life of women in the Himalayas is not easy at all. In terms of equal access to men's activities, they are almost the same. While trekking, I've seen many times women carrying heavy stuff up to the top. Here I spotted a Woman Bearer of a basket designated to pick up grass from the hills.
