Based in Fairbanks, Alaska, Javed Miandad is an earth scientist and dedicated photographer whose visual journey began in Bangladesh while studying engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Deeply captivated by geology, earth science, and the transformative power of natural light, Miandad’s photography spans candid documentary portraiture to expansive subarctic landscapes, aurora borealis, and wildlife.
