My first visit to the botanical park in Lalbagh,Bangalore. There was this small hill with this pair of trees and two kids sitting under it. Its a representation of how I recall the innocent childhood days of spending most of the day under the shade of a tree. This photograph was shot in Bangalore, India.

Captured this image of a Eurofighter Typhoon engaged in an aerial maneuver at the AERO India Airshow 2011. What I really like about this image is the fact that the white smoke trails form a Scottish saltire against the blue cloudless sky.

This photo is taken in the Pottery town, in the heart of modern city of Bangalore. Though, called a town its a small lane to 30-40 households, who still has kept the ancient art alive. They create earthen pots, diyas (earthen lamps) mostly, but they also create very small miniature idols according to seasons.

I caught this cute squirrel basking in the beautiful early morning sun and giving an impish look when I approached him to take this shot. And then he obliged to give me this charming pose! This photograph was shot in Bangalore when swathed in some beautiful early morning light.

Shot this on an unassumingly hot and sultry day in Bangalore. The relentless and unforgiving sultry weather had zapped my creativity and I longed for a refreshing citrus dip of lemonade soda. Bingo! That’s when my creativity came back to life and setup this shot.

Rain drops on flowers make for some very intriguing sights especially when viewed up close. This shot of the Peruvian Lily was taken at the Republic Day Flower show at Lalbagh in Bangalore. Since I do not have a dedicated macro lens in my kitty, I used the 50mm reversed with aperture locked at f/8.0. [...]

AeroIndia 2011 was Asia’s biggest Air Show. This picture was captured at AeroIndia 2011 show, where the “Gripen” (aircraft) performed wonderful aerobatic formations for the spectators.

Surya Kirans, one of only three ‘nine’ aircraft aerobatic teams in the world, are the ambassadors of the Indian Air Force. Taken during the Aero India 2011 Show, the tri – coloured smoke trail and the vibrant red of the jets set against the dark blue sky help to create a truly captivating image.

It was a treat to witness the set of fresh flowers laid out for the flower show in Lalbagh, Bangalore, India. The bi-annual flower show attracts hundreds of people from the city, and umpteen varieties of flowers displayed in exquisite revelry.
