Shot this on an unassumingly hot and sultry day in Bangalore. The relentless and unforgiving sultry weather had zapped my creativity and I longed for a refreshing citrus dip of lemonade soda. Bingo! That’s when my creativity came back to life and setup this shot.

Ruben Alexander hails from Bangalore, India. He pursues left brained activity as a techie in the IT industry and right brained activity as a self-taught rookie photographer. He used to “shoot from the hip” when he had a P&S cam, but since the time he got his first SLR in 2010, the learning drive and quest to “make pics” has increased by leaps and bounds. He believes that a ‘discerning photographic eye’ is far more important than all the equipment in the camera bag! Photography to him is a means to express his creativity and at the same time a great stress buster. Most of his current photography work revolves around nature, macro and a few creative still shots. Landscape, Portrait, Travel and Street photography interest him and he plans to delve into them as he progresses on his learning curve.
