Since a long time ago I wanted to experiment with smoke, but I didn’t have any idea how start and less how obtain a color smoke, after a not successful research I decided to discover by myself how to do that and after a few tests… Hallelujah!! It is amazing the way the smoke “danced”.

Reflection captured inside to the Experience Music Project At Seattle Center. Conceived by Paul Allen and designed by Frank Ghery, the museum takes you through music history by immersing you in nearly 80,000 artifacts including photos, sound archives, costumes and musical instruments from notable artists.

I used a D700 with a 60mm f/2.8 lens on it. The exposure was f/32 at 1/80sec (ISO125) with an SB600, triggered through Nikon CLS.

The ceiling at one of the hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. The swirling colorful objects are umbrellas made of glass, hung upside down. The light in the ceiling causes this effect. Swirl was taken in December, 2009.
