“The Worshippers” is a simple photograph, by Waseef Akhtar. It is rather simple in composition, but it became our photograph of the month due to its popularity with viewers. The key reason lies in the place itself.
With the photograph, Waseef took us to one of the most sacred places on Earth, Al-Masjid Al-Haram (The Sacred Mosque), in the city of Mecca. Here, prophet Abraham (PBUH) and his son Ismail (PBUH) built the Ka’ba. We will take you on a spiritual journey to its essence, conveyed through photographs and the most authentic scripture.

True,I visited this wonderful holy place on earth-my beloved Kaaba’ in Mekkah in 2005, & it was the most wonderful experience of my life being there & in Haram Shareef Madina,Masajid-e-Nabawi(SAW),i wish & pray to be blessed again & again by Allah to be there & worship there more & more,amin.
