A Guide to Making Your Readers Read

A Guide to Making Your Readers Read

As writers, our goal is to set the tone for our readers, and it is the opening sentence, or the first paragraph or two that hook the readers. In theory, we call it a lede, which is the fine piece of writing that opens the door into the rest of your story. It is about how you make your readers read, introduce them to the subject and then establish the direction in a dramatic, comedic, or a serious manner.

This guide is all about writing lede, how we can write it and make it a fine piece.
