I took this photo while visiting the Amphawa Floating Market, one of the most popular floating markets in Bangkok area. The canal-side way of life in Amphawa takes place along the waterfront walkways of Amphawa Canal, a small tributary of the Mae Khlong River.
There is another photo taken when visiting the Amphawa Floating Market in Thailand. The boy was playing intensively with the mobile phone when his mother was preparing meals for tourist in a family run small restaurant by the canal.
Amphawa Market is distanced of about 90 Km south west from Bangkok in Samut Songkhram Province.Vendors on small wooden boats cook and sell their foods to tourists from all over the world. You can easily walk around the market for 2 or 3 hours and see everything calmly.
