The aim of this “Creative Composition” course is to guide one make an aesthetically pleasing composition with proper structure, balance, and dynamics that bind compositional elements together and transform them into a photograph. As the various elements of photography overlap, detail and advanced understandings of fundamental elements of composition not only give one true insight, but also the ability to control the effect one wants through the lens.
The aim of this course is to help one develop an artistic vision, learning to see the beauty, unity, and harmony before pressing the shutter. Each of the lessons are designed to build comprehensive understanding of elements that connect us with the moment, produce moods and rhythm, and give viewers visual clues. From the choice of subject, which reflects one’s way of seeing to the visual perception of a scene, we will go through every aspect that highlights the true voice of the medium of photography.
In this “The Standard and Style of Photography” course, one will learn the science behind photography, the misconceptions that many so-called iconic photographers have and try to propagate, and how to overcome them to see reality closely. We will also go through the process of developing artistic skills and presentation, the concluding step for evaluating photographs.
