Footsteps of Light: The Langtang Valley Photography Expedition
Expedition Overview
This immersive 7-day photography expedition in Langtang Valley, Nepal, is designed to develop both technical skills and artistic vision through real-world practice in the Himalayas. Participants will journey through remote mountain trails, traditional Tamang villages, alpine meadows, and high-altitude landscapes while learning to observe and capture light, composition, and human connection.
The course combines trekking with hands-on photography sessions, guided assignments, and mentor-led critiques. Each day focuses on a core principle—from understanding camera behavior in changing environments to mastering composition, storytelling, and visual harmony in natural settings.
By the end of the expedition, participants will have created a meaningful body of work, strengthened their photographic foundation, and presented their final images through a structured review and reflection session.
