From subjective to conceptual, or having a photographic vision to the concepts of judgments, the responsibility of how we take and share photographs fall in the field of ethics, the principle that guides how to work with photography in an ethical way. In this course, we are going to learn and practice the ethics of photography and what it needs to be known as a photographer when you are out shooting, documenting events.
When you are telling a story aesthetically on film, it is not only about just recording, rather it is an art of motion picture photography in the form of visual storytelling, which is known as cinematography. From lighting, framing, composition, to camera motion and its perspective, from close-up to long shorts, tracking to dolly, low angle to panning and tilting, key, fill, or the back lighting, each of the elements and techniques of cinematography set the look and mood of the visual narratives and ensure every element is cohesive to support the story. In this detailed course we are going to learn and master them all.
From vibrant to flat, in darker or lighter shade, in stronger or weaker tone, from neutral to colourfulness, color is always there in all possible tints. Looking through the viewfinder, or on a large display and then the final outputs in prints, every moment we capture consists of colors. There are numerous ways to represent and understand the color in photography. The aim of this course is to understand color and color management.
