Christopher Utano enjoys black and white, landscape, still life, macro and HDR photography. He has achieved publication credits include National Geographic Stock, istockphoto, and Boating Times Long Island. For his photography mostly he uses Nikon D40 with SB600 Flash, Sea and Sea MMII with YS 50 Strobe, Nikor 60 mm macro f2.8, Sigma 10-20mm f 5.6, Sigma 70-200mm f2.8, Nikon 50mm f1.8, Tamron 28-300mm f3.5 and Manfrotto 725B Tripod. Christopher’s photograph Central Park Tunnel in the category of Artistic Photography scored 75 (Value 14, Clarity 14, Composition 18.5, Style 14.5, Skill 14) from our international jury of 5. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph, raising its score to 8.783 from social media (Facebook Share 1.3, Tweets 5, StumbleUpon Organic View 1.883, Comments 0.6), and in total 83.783, the highest score in this competition for the 6th Month. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 6th Month, 1st Place.

Prize:
We will publish a special interview with Christopher Utano in the Photographer with Style section of the magazine, and the Exclusive Interview section on our website.

For our 6th month, we had a head-to-head contest between the top scorers and the photographs that scored the highest became winners of the Photo of the Month. Our team decided to honor these top scorers as 2nd and 3rd places with a page in the next issue of our magazine, where the photographers will share their stories of these photographs. We will also publish their interviews in the Exclusive Interview section on our Web.

Matt Caguyong always loved and appreciated the art of photography. He has been shooting with a DSLR since 2007. He is currently working in information technology and takes his Canon with him when traveling for work or for pleasure looking for anything that captivates him. He also does night life, event, some fashion, and sports photography when his time permits. He hopes to turn his passion for photography into his career someday.
