Shahnaz Parvin is an Award-Winning photographer and passionate Bangalee, resides in Bangladesh. Though she is doing a job as system admin in a PSI company, her real passion lays in photography and learning it. Shahnaz mostly loves documentary photography, and loves to represent her country Bangladesh through her lens. Her photo Single Frame was awarded in the Photo of the Day contest in the category of Street Photography, as it scored a solid 72 (Value 13, Clarity 13.5, Composition 18, Style 14, Skill 13.5) from our international jury of 5. The number of Tweets, Facebook shares, and StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph, raising its score to 4.3775 from social media (Facebook Share 3.475, Tweets 0.7, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.0025, and Comments 0.2), and in total 76.3775, the highest score in this competition in the 39th Month. This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 39th Month, 1st Place.

We will publish a special interview with Shahnaz Parvin in the Photographer with Style section of the magazine, and the Exclusive Interview section on our website.

Based on the social media responses, awarded photographs received on the 39th month, we set the maximum number of Facebook Like at 200, Tweet at 100, Stumble at 2000, and our subscribers Comments at 50. For this month, we had a head-to-head contest between the top scorers and the photographs that scored the highest became winners of the Photo of the Month. Our team decided to honor these top scorers as 2nd and 3rd places with a page in the next issue of our magazine, where the photographers will share their stories of these photographs. Arnold Chan is a Sydney based vivid photographer specializing in event, zoology, cityscape and long exposure night photography. He started experimenting with photography as a hobby because he loves nature and landscape photography. His aim is to capture the nature of the wilderness and landscape. And also enjoy the wild beauty of nature at the same time. As he continued to develop his photography and he moved from Landscapes and Seascapes into long exposure photography which inevitably led to night photography. Arnold Chan’s photograph Couple from Opposite Dimension in the category of Artistic Photography scored 69 (Value 12.5, Clarity 12.5, Composition 18, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score by 3.2 from social media (Facebook Share 2.85, Tweets .35, StumbleUpon Organic View 0, Comments 0), and in total 72.2 This photograph is the winner of Photograph of the Month – 39th Month, 2nd Place.

A Freelance Photographer with a passion for travel, candid, street, documentary, and landscape photography. Interchanging between digital and film mediums produces the desired effect in color or B&W, which is a raw representation of reality. Because most of Nilla’s images are candid, so a flash is rarely used. Her work includes a variety of themes taken across five continents, which spans over 20 years. Capturing the essence of a candid moment is a passion, which can represent a controversial or confronting image that some may find provoking. Her photograph Capuchin Monkey in the category of Wildlife Photography scored 67 (Value 13, Clarity 13, Composition 16, Style 12.5, Skill 12.5) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition. The number of Tweets and Facebook shares, StumbleUpon Organic Views boosted the popularity of the photograph a notch, raising its score by 4.8125 from social media (Facebook Share 4.3, Tweets .05, StumbleUpon Organic View 0.0125, Comments 0), and in total 71.8125. Born in 1977 in India, graduate from Calcutta University, Joy Dasgupta works and lives in UAE for last 7 years. He is already associated with some professional photographic association for past few years. Photography is a totally different world for him, it’s so beautiful that he forget all the bad times He had in his life. Joy likes to meet new people, and wants to know how they see the world. He often looks at the photographs taken by other people and trying to learn from it. Joy Dasgupta’s photograph Sharjah, in the category Night Photography, 68 (Value 12.5, Clarity 12.5, Composition 17, Style 13, Skill 13) from our international jury of 5, and gains a good position in the competition.
