Petals in grey have always fascinated me. Already as a child I painted flowers with pencil and painted light fine shades of grey on the leaves. This photo was taken on a sunny morning, the background completely blurred, so that the observer can fully concentrate on the blossom and the petals.

Baku Boulevard by Fidan Nazim Qizi

Nizami Street is a large pedestrian and shopping street in downtown Baku, Azerbaijan, named after classical poet Nizami Ganjavi. Nizami Street is home to various outlets, from banks to fashion stores and is one of the most expensive streets in the world. The architecture of the street reflects a synthesis of various styles and directions, which is because, the intensive construction and building was realized in three main levels: late 19th-early 20th century, 1950s–1970s and a modern period.
