Captured in November 2018, this night photograph of the Fullerton Building highlights the transition into the festive season. The photographer utilized the ambient glow of decorative lighting on the hotel and surrounding foliage to contrast against a moody, cloud-covered evening sky. By choosing a unique vantage pointβa departure from earlier daytime studies of the architectureβthe image captures a somber, atmospheric stillness. The long exposure technique effectively balances the building's structural elegance with the soft, festive illumination, resulting in a composition that transforms a familiar landmark into a scene of quiet, nocturnal wonder.
