Diffraction has softened the subject’s skin texture, and that ISO 2000 noise is a gritty, unnecessary tax on the sensor. It’s a shame. The framing is tight, but the technical execution creates a muddy haze. I’d have preferred a wider aperture to isolate the subject. It’s frustrating to see such raw intensity compromised by poor light management.
