Surrounded by the warm light, stairs begin the ascent to the top of the lighthouse, where the cold light is waiting… This picture was taken inside the lighthouse of Eckmuhl, an astonishing structure in the beautiful village of Penmarc´h, Bretagne, France.

Photographer: Javier Mosquera Cid (Ourense, Galicia, Spain) Registered
Javier Mosquera was born in 1978 in Ourense (Galicia, Spain). His beautiful homeland gave him the chance to grow up surrounded by an exuberant nature, astonishing landscapes, and a vast repertory of animals and plants. A few years later, his love and admiration for the natural world led him to obtain a Bs in Marine Biology. In his university years, he began to get in touch with people from different corners of the world, who opened his mind to new cultures and countries, and then the flame of travel began to burn…

In the following years, he had the chance to work as a biologist in amazing places as Azores, Iceland or Amazonia and he began to feel attracted by the possibility of capturing the beauty of those places, the nature, animals, landscapes, people…
