It’s a lucky shot, isn’t it? One suspects the light cooperated on the first attempt. It often does, for the casual commuter. While the Han River glow is undeniably striking, I find myself unmoved by the convenience of it all. There’s no grit here, no shivering on a bridge at dawn. It’s pretty, certainly, but it hasn’t been earned. I’d trade all that vibrant color for a single frame that cost the photographer a night’s sleep.
