People of Leipzig by Hadi Navid
I was traveling from Paris to Berlin with a friend. We decided to do some shooting on the way. One of the cities we stayed was Leipzig with all those old mansions and castles. it was a very cloudy and grey day. But I had to take my chance. So most of the time I was busy with street photography. This is one frame from that day of Leipzig.
Spring by Leanne Lindsay
My husband surprised me with the most stunning bouquet this particular afternoon! Gerberas filled the vase with bursts of color, and I knew I had to capture their beauty and I can't resist a little creative challenge!
Instead of the traditional vase shot, I decided to deconstruct the arrangement and play with individual blooms. Soft afternoon light streamed through the window, casting a soft glow on the delicate petals. I arranged them on a simple white background, letting the vibrant colors take center stage.
Focusing on individual flowers allowed me to capture the intricate details. It was a fun and creative way to appreciate the beauty of these blooms.
Boy On Car Seat by Keith Goldstein
There are many mobile car wash trucks on the streets in northern Manhattan, especially Washington Heights. I came upon this boy, alone. I later noticed he was playing on his mobile phone. I thought it odd, but I found out his father apparently was working the car wash and the boy was biding his time waiting for him.
