The White Breath

The world has been erased.

Covered with Snow by Azam Rasouli

It is not a disappearance, but a softening. A heavy blanket pulled over the shoulders of the earth. We walk through it, or we watch it pass, and for a few heartbeats, the noise of our own existence is muffled. The sharp edges of the day are gone.

We are left with the essential.

There is a rhythm to this stillness. It is the sound of a long, slow exhale. We think we are moving forward, but perhaps we are only drifting through a dream that someone else has already dreamt. The path is hidden. The destination is irrelevant.

What remains when the color is taken away?

Azam Rasouli has captured this quiet transition in the image titled Covered with Snow. It is a reminder that even in the blur of a journey, there is a place where we can simply stop and breathe. Will you step into the white with me?
