A Photographer’s Guide to Perfect Exposure
It is one thing to take a photograph, but quite another to photograph with perfect exposure. When you take the photograph with correct exposure, it tells the story vividly, as if it has its own personality – a dramatic instance in every single pixel, regardless 35mm, large, medium, fourth-third, or whichever format you chose.
This guide explores the science and instinct of correct exposure — how to read light, understand your camera's metering system, and make deliberate decisions that serve the image rather than merely satisfy the histogram. From the bright contrast of midday sun to the subtle gradients of the golden hour, it provides practical techniques for achieving the exposure that tells your story with the depth, tone, and drama that the moment truly deserves.

Thanks for purchasing one of our guides. The subject of Light Metering is vast, and we have a separate 25 pages details guide for it. - https://www.lightandcomposition.com/store/a-photographers-guide-to-light-metering/
If you want to learn Spot Metering, you should buy "A Photographer’s Guide to Light Metering."
I was looking for how to use SPOT Metering with Manual Mode to get perfect exposure in a single shot. Unfortunately eBOOK does not discuss it. it briefly discusses different metering modes and which situation it could be useful in... :(
It takes a little time to read through but once done you will be like a pro!
A useful read.
Loved this exposure guide! Very easy to understand.
I've read about perfect exposure before, but it always confused me, and this didn't at all!
