I was there with my wide-eyed grandchildren, patiently introducing them to the wonders of underwater photography with my old DSLR. But it was the mesmerizing jellyfish exhibit that truly captivated us all.

On a hike from Guana Bay to Point Blanche you can see many Iguana's enjoying the sun. You can find them everywhere on St Maarten but the best place to spot them is between Guana Bay and Point Blanche. They are really good in hiding in the bushes but they come out shen the sun is out.

On the way back from a hike, the sight on the left catches my eye. Brake, stop, take out your camera. So many simple steps to immortalise a singular scene, between the beauty of nature, the cement of the road and the result of human deforestation. All under a gloomy, damp and rainy Belgian sky.
