Carabao, what means Water Buffalo, is an animal that is highly utilized in the provinces of Philippines. Buffalo are used to plow the fields, as a mode of transportation and a source of food.

This is Vikas, he is 12 and studies in 7th grade. His stays in a small hut, in the middle of rice paddy field, just outside of our village. Sometimes he comes to our village to play with the kids and that’s when I took this photo.
