The shallow depth of field isolates the texture, but the focus shift on the grapes feels sloppy. I’ve seen better sharpness at this aperture. It’s technically competent, yet it doesn’t quite hit the mark. Honestly, the chromatic aberration on the edges irritates me. It’s a missed opportunity for total clarity.

It’s technically sharp, but I find it hollow. When I spend weeks in a blind waiting for a bird to land, I’m looking for a pulse, not a fruit salad. This is all artifice and arrangement. It’s sterile. Where’s the struggle? Where’s the risk? I’d trade every vibrant, perfectly placed grape here for one frame that wasn't meticulously staged. It’s just food, and frankly, it doesn't move me at all. It’s entirely extracted, not earned.
