Angel Eyes by Jose Juniel Rivera-Negron

Captured during a vibrant festival in a Tampa park, this portrait focuses on a young child whose radiant expression stood out amidst the bustling crowd. The photographer was struck by the subject's genuine joy, noting that her eyes possessed a luminous, ethereal quality reminiscent of an angel. By utilizing a 250mm focal length, the photographer successfully isolated the subject from the busy environment, creating a shallow depth of field that emphasizes the clarity and sparkle in her gaze. This image is award-worthy for its ability to distill a fleeting, heartfelt moment of pure innocence into a compelling and technically precise portrait.
