This was taken in Pecs one of the large cities in Hungary. It was a short gauge rail track between two stations. Now mostly tourists and kids ride this train. we were crossing this rail track and found this intersection. The shot from the ground and the woman’s shoe provide a new perspective to this image.
I found it and enjoyed that moment and now when I am walking around I always think about it: “Don’t forget that sometimes it is not necessary to see details because then you can not see the whole”.
This black and white photo was taken in April last year in Mira de Aire and symbolizes the importance of the past in our lives and the need to not forget our roots and all the transitions throughout our life that made us who we are. Our path reflects the path of our ancestors.
