This is the ecological gardens of Hevsel in the city of Diyarbakir in Turkey, during the spring time. Many fruits and vegetables are grown in these big gardens. You can find many wild animals too. Two years ago it was admitted to the World Cultural Heritage List.
This old tree with equally old tables and stools under it looks sentimental. The tree is near a lake, which also has tables and stools besides the lake. There are lots of fallen leaves on the floor, with some uncovered roots. Taken in black and white, the photograph has more feeling than a colored version.
I took this photo during my trip to Luang Prabang, in December 2012. In Laos you can meet Buddhist monks clothed in deep orange robes (applicable for Theravada Buddhists in South-East Asia), whereas in Myanmar they wear maroon ones. When being in Laos you can meet monks almost everywhere, also in the markets.
